(More customer reviews)Purchased this to allow me to add more range of motion to the shower head, so it wouldn't spray all the way to the back wall of the shower.Excellent quality - it seems heavy and well-made - not made of plastic (though presumably the socket portion of the ball joint is....not sure).The joint is stiff, so it won't move around after you set the position. Plus, it moves smoothly when it is adjusted; it doesn't stick or make noise.
I'm not sure exactly, but the ball joint probably adds another 30 degrees range of motion (that's all I needed). Don't expect to be able to make a 90 degree angle with your shower head.
If they had any more in stock, I'd buy another for my other shower.
