(More customer reviews)I was looking for a shower head that was bigger than my 15-year-old Water Pik but one that would also have the hand-held feature. This one fits the bill. I bought this model over the less expensive similar Delta shower heads because of the metal hose and I thought it would be sturdier. Delta also offers a lifetime warranty, so that is a plus, also. It was extremely easy to install. No tools were needed but I did buy a roll of teflon tape from the local hardware store for $1.29 which I wrapped around the threads of the shower arm pipe that comes out of the wall. A new one is included with the shower head, but I just used my old one because it seemed too difficult to get the old one out of my wall. I just hand tightened the connections and there were no leaks at all. Using this showerhead is quite simple, also. There is a lever on the outer ring and one on the inner handheld, and by changing the positions you can have water flow from both parts making it like a rainhead shower. You can change the flow so it only comes from the outer ring, or from just the handheld center. You can change the flow in the handheld center from all the holes to just a concentrated center flow which is effective for rinsing cream rinse from your hair more quickly. You can also shut off flow to both parts which is great if you are shaving your legs. The handheld center is easy to remove and put back, too. It's nice to be able to use the handheld to rinse the tub or my toddler grandson when he visits!
