However, I purchased a handle and shower head from the same maker Price Pfister, with the same color "oil rubbed bronze." This product is more of a grayish tone than the other items. Trivial, as it is only color, but when rebuilding an entire shower, you want it to look the same! Other than that, it is a great handheld shower. Mounted easily and looks great!

The water pressure is perfect - not too wimpy and not too strong, it is just right actually. The 6" head is a great size as well, nice coverage. Also looks modern and beautiful, which is a nice bonus.

(More customer reviews)We've had one of these water softeners at our house for 10 years. We've recommended them to family and friends, and installed them in other peoples' houses, and everyone has been amazed that they not only work, but work SO WELL!
We bought one for our son for his brand-new house, which had very hard water, and iron pipes. When the water-softener salesman came around the neighborhood and tested everyone's water (planning on big sales), he couldn't figure out why the results were so bizarre at this house. He was finally clued in, and said maybe he should start selling Clear Wave softeners!
Things we noticed right away: a significant reduction in the amount of detergent we used for launday; showerheads didn't get clogged as fast; water-spotting on tiles was easier to clean off; skin was less irritated.
"Installing" this unit consists of wrapping wire around the pipe that comes into the house, and plugging it into an electrical outlet. Ours has been chugging along for 10 years with no issues. It doesn't make any noise, it doesn't need to be "fed" or fixed. It just quietly does what it was designed to do 24/7. No chemicals or salts have to be added to the water, and this unit costs about as much as a light bulb to operate.
I was delighted to find this on Amazon, because I want to buy another one for someone who just moved into a home with old pipes and hard water. I KNOW it will help!

(More customer reviews)I gave this a 4 star review only because I feel it is just a little too tall and competes with the height of my whirlpool tub's faucet which is located not too far away from it. If it were placed on the opposite side of the tub, it would look better, but I already had the cutouts in the tub. I just wish it was a little less tall, though it works great and matches the Purist line as well. I have Purist in my shower and this is the same showerhead but smaller. (The showerhead in my shower is large but the circumference of the multifunction shower part where the water actually comes out is the exact same as this unit.) It is well made. Only the part around the actual head is chromed plastic and you spin it to the desired spray pattern which all are not very powerful sprays which is desirable to me, not wanting a forceful spray which will get water all over the place which is also uncomfortable as well.

I have dropped my rating to three because even though I have notified amazon that the product does not have the sprays indicated or the pause feature advertised, its page description has not been changed. Instead of correcting the problem, they sent me another unit and i returned both, and ordered the water pik 12 sprayer which includes a control that adjust the amount of water, and the type of spray independently...making everybody and my dog happy. If you see the value in being able to control the amount of pressure the water pik is the best choice (especially with the water saving device removed).

(More customer reviews)Usually Delta products are the greatest and I have always specified them throughout my homes. (Yes, I'm a retired home builder.) Their warranties are among the best of all plumbing products.
However their hand-held showers are simply too restrictive on flow, seemingly way beyond modern code requirements. On this one, in any one of its several dial settings, you simply cannot experience a satisfying shower. (Warning label ominously says "don't attempt to modify the flow-restrictor or you will permanently damage the product". Without that instruction, I would have attempted to remove or drill-out that flow restrictor. ;-))
My solution was to return the Delta and purchase a Grohe, recommended by my plumbing supply wholesaler, and now can take a satisfying shower. Unfortunately the Grohe is much more expensive, but it certainly exudes quality. You may find other acceptable brands which are less costly outside of the Delta, Peerless, Glacier Bay circle.
Sorry Delta, this is the only complaint I've ever had in many years using Delta products. The Grohe is superb and worth every dime of the extra cost.

(More customer reviews)Being an older person with a disability, I have to be really careful when bathing - and often the easiest thing for me is to sit in the bathtub on my sturdy shower chair and use my hand-held shower. With this bracket at the perfect height (ours is permanently attached on our ceramic tile wall with screws and silicone into a stud), I can shower myself easily and maintain a bit more of my independence ~ and my dignity! If only I could find MORE products that accomplish so much for so little. The grandkids also love being able to put the shower at their own height when they come to visit. (I think we have the cleanest "grandies" on the block!) LOL!
If it sounds good to you, but you're not convinced you want to drill a hole in the wall until you're sure you'll be happy with it, try it with the double-sided tape that comes in the package first. But trust me ~ you'll LOVE it!

There really is no noticable difference in how it feels when you wash your hands, but it really uses alot less water! I have installed these on every faucet in the house. About the only negative I can think of is that filling a large pan of water does take longer, but it's a small trade off for the water that is saved washing your hands or rinsing dishes! Installation was easy and the product is well made with a nice quality finish! I have been recomending these to all of my friends!
