(More customer reviews)This showerhead is very well made and has outstanding performance. The flow stream is evenly distrubuted and really makes a nice improvement over a standard shower head. I did experience a problem after the initial installation. Once the shower was turned on a loud screaching sound was heard. I believe this was due to cavitation occurring in the shower control valve. My shower valve permits water temperature adjustment but does enable the flow rate to be adjusted so I wasn't able to try turning down the flow. I removed the shower head and noticed that there was a small plastic flow restricter installed at the inlet to the shower head. I removed the flow restricter, reinstalled the shower head and the noise was gone. Problem solved.

For a total bathroom remodeling project, I used the following Danze Sirius brushed nickel components: D464602BN Multi-Function Personal Shower, D461160BN 6" Sunflower Showerhead, D481144BN 15-Inch Shower Arm, D113000BT Single Control Pressure Balance Mixing Valve with diverter, D500444BNT Trim Kit For Valve, D446136BN Paper Holder, D446133BN 24-Inch Double Towel Bar,D446131BN, 18-Inch Towel Bar, D497440BN Side Mount Tank Lever, and D221544BN Single Handle Lavatory faucet. All of these products were promptly shipped by Amazon.
The Danze web site gave a lot of useful pre-purchase information (e.g., PDFs of installation instructions and product specifications). It also showed a range of plumbing schemes for shower installations ---- since I was planning to have just a Personal Shower plus a single overhead shower head, the Danze site indicated that these two components could be controlled via a simple control mixing valve that included a diverter (i.e., a control valve that would normally be used for a bathtub/shower combination). This certainly simplified the plumbing!
The D221544BN Single Handle Lavatory faucet uses a single lever handle to control the water flow and temperature. In place of a control rod for the hand basin stopper, the Danze stopper is spring-loaded and seals via a simple push down ---- a second push then releases the stopper.

Upon seeing this item, I knew it was exactly what I wanted, two heads that can be aimed in opposite directions, and with a shutoff valve. Overall the item is great, it is certainly the best showerhead I have found so far for my needs. Unfortunately, there is one problem that is a bit annoying. The shut-off valves do not have rubber gaskets inside, and as such they do not actually 'shut-off' the water. During a normal length shower, using only one of the two heads, the other head will leak approximately 4-5 gallons of water.

(More customer reviews)I had purchased this after purchasing the Delta 75152 and found this one to be perfect for me. The Delta 75152 was also a great showerhead but I found that even at the water set at 1.85 gpm, the pressure was still feels like it stings my body. All I could think was the pressure needed to be just a little lower and it also has the same water coverage as the Delta 75252 so you dont feel like your showering with less water.
After changing the showerheads in our house to the 75152 and the 75151, more people are able to shower without having to wait for hot water and we can also shower at the same time without loss of water pressure like you would with normal showerheads.
If you want to save money, the Delta 75152 is a great showerhead and if you found that model to be a litter strong or want even more water savings, get the Delta 75151 as I did. At our water savings, we would be recouping the costs of the shower heads in a matter of 8 months.

(More customer reviews)i bought this showerhead while remodeling our 1911 bungalow bathroom. we put in a clawfoot tub with shower surround so i thought the style of this showerhead would fit, which it does beautifully. however, the 3 shower settings are not impressive. the main shower spray is too wide leaving a huge gap in the middle where water doesn't spray. the vibrating/massaging setting is ok, good force but noisy and not very soothing. it gets three stars for being ok. i'll probably invest in a better one in the future...

Once it was connected, it leaked and continued to do so. When my husband when to tighten the connection, what looked like a steel peice turned out to be a plastic piece that was painted silver...and that piece was cracked. I thew the whole thing out.

(More customer reviews)It's a classic and original design. It was sturdy, worked well, and is still in production. One might call this the first water saving shower head. It's cheap, effective, and comfortable. Details below.
My family bought this showerhead before I was born. It lasted what I'm estimating is over two decades before the washer wore out and it started leaking at the pivot point. This was no big deal for the first few years but we replaced it with another of the same model eventually. We have extremely hard water (so hard that our pipes block with crystals) and the holes the water pours through get clogged, causing the water beads to get smaller. At that time I clean this showerhead with a needle and some vinegar and it's as good as new for another two years. Takes me 2 minutes. If you live in an area with average water this should last many years without buildup and many decades if you clean it once a year for two minutes if it gets blocked. Also, if you are lazy and have hard water, it is entirely metal besides the washer. You can soak it in vinegar for a day or whatever.
