(More customer reviews)The Oxygenics Body Spa Handheld worked for a while and then the hose developed a leak - the chrome cover has in fact rolled off, exposing the plastic tubing.
The Oxygenics customer service people claim that that the unit is only warranteed on the clogging! So much for their lifetime warranty!.
The unit stopped working after about 6 months of normal use. Would strongly discourage from buying this defective product.
The showerhead is probably a better choice as it has fewer moving parts and is installed in many of the larger hotels (MGM Grand in Las Vegas for instance).
The good points:
- when it works, the pressure of the water is really good
- does leave you feeling energized
- looks sleek and 'luxurious' with no visible plastic stuff
The bad points:
- defective handheld units - hold on to your receipts!
- bad customer service and warranty
- poorly designed plastic tubing inside the unit - prone to failure and leaks

Alsons 655CBX Fluidics Water Saving Shower Head, Chrome Review

(More customer reviews)I am not sure what the one post about cold misting shower was all about. This was not my experience. Fludics is based on large drops not aerated mist. I have lower pressure. (62 psi) and the Alsons 1.6 does increase the pressure compared to my Mohen 2.5 gpm head by 10 psi min.
The 4 jets shake to spread out the water giving full coverage. Oddly it uses more water than its single hole 1.6 version which sells for half the price. That one has 10 psi more force but it a bit stingy. This one divides the pressure up between the 4 holes. The large holes will make it less likely to clog up if you have hard water.
Note that the head is ABS chromed plastic. The fitting is chrome plated brass.
Overall you will get a nice shower if you have lower pressure and save water compared to a 2.5 gpm head.
You will have to get used to the different spray pattern since it different than the traditional needle spray.

(More customer reviews)The handheld "shower massage" units of yesteryear have always presented a bit of a conundrum, providing neither a comfortable shower (particularly when their finicky jets get clogged) nor a relaxing massage. I never really gave it much thought, assuming we had reached the limits of water delivery technology. That was, until I experienced the Waterpik AquaScape.
Right off the bat, let me warn that this showerhead is not for everyone. If you like standing in a gentle mist while being drizzled with cascading rain droplets, there are other units that accomplish this (the word "rain" is usually the giveaway). On the other hand, if you prefer to be pummeled by what feels like the Colorado River, the AquaScape stands alone. I am, by most standards, a hefty man, yet when fully engaged, the AquaScape literally pushes me backwards in the shower as though I'm being sprayed with a firehose.
Installation was a breeze, including the removal of the flow limiter. I would recommend leaving on the flow limiter at first to see if you like the default pressure. The pressure after removing the limiter, as described above, is not for the faint of heart. Also, before buying, note that this is a fixed wall mount unit. There is no detachable, handheld piece and, quite frankly, it's probably much safer that way, as a handheld component could easily spiral out of control with this kind of pressure.
Overall, I heartily recommend this product both to the showerhead enthusiast as well as the "weekend warrior".

Culligan RDSH-C115 RainDisc Shower Head with Filter, Chrome Finish Review

(More customer reviews)We ordered the Culligan RDSH-C115 RainDisc Shower Head with Filter, and two additional WHR-140 filter cartridges and have been using it for about a week. The instructions say to remove the black rubber water saver if the flow is too low, which was the case with us. The filters are good for 10,000 gallons which I calculated as two showers a day for about 6 months. Since we removed the water saver, which seems to double the flow, I figure a filter should last about 3 months.
Installation was fairly simple. I removed the old shower head and left the old thin plumber's tape on the threads of the water pipe. I removed the six screws from the face of the shower head to open it. I removed the stickers from both sides of the filter cartridge and pressed it in to the shower head about 1/4 inch. I replaced the 6 screws and screwed the shower head on to the water pipe. When I ran the shower I felt the flow was not strong enough so I unscrewed the shower head from the pipe and (as per the instructions) pulled out the small black rubber water saver plug from the pipe end of the shower head (using a scissor). I screwed the shower head back onto the water pipe and tightened it with pliers.
The flow without the water saver is large and feels like a water stream from a large pipe.
There's no needle like spray, just a soft large volume of water falling on you.
The chlorine remover really works. After just a couple of uses, skin and hair are noticeable softer and soap or shampoo seem to rinse more thoroughly and quickly. In summer the chlorine smell in our NJ hard water is quite pungent, and this removed it completely.

(More customer reviews)This head generates excellent pressure at only 2.5gpm and full coverage. It feels like more pressure than my generic showerhead with regulator removed, which allows 3.7gpm. The water flow of this Delta looks quite messy, but is not bad. The air that is added to the water to boost pressure does make it sting ever so slightly, but not as bad as most showerheads that use air to boost pressure. (The Oxygenics Trispa uses similar technology but it really hurts if you have average water pressure.) The build quality is excellent too.
I have tried over 10 showerheads recently, and this one has the 2nd best pressure of all of them. (The "best" one stings too much.) I highly recommend this showerhead. It is the one I plan to keep using. Sadly, it does not come in a handheld version.

I bought this showerhead mainly because of the price and hand held capabilities. We love this showerhead so much that I decided to purchase another for the guest bathroom. You will not be disappointed in the pressure (we have low water pressure in our condo). Although, do keep in mind that the entire showerhead is plastic, including the hose, the head, and the attachment.

(More customer reviews)This showerhead combines a standard fixed nozzle with a long, removable hose-led hand shower to give the shower taker the ultimate control over their shower. Prior to buying this showerhead, I used a standard fixed showerhead that provided a measly stream of water and and its nozzles often got clogged. After installing this showerhead, the water pressure is excellent! A giant step up from my old showerhead. Not only is the pressure excellent, the water nozzles all face slightly different directions, which give you a great massage feeling.

Here's a run down of the three modes:
Hand Shower only: Provides the best water pressure, because the water comes out the fewest nozzles.
Fixed Shower only: Water comes out of the outer ring nozzles only.
Hand + Fixed Shower: Water comes out of all nozzles. Using the mode, the water covers a lot of area at one time (waterfall style)

Many parts of the unit are plastic, including the entire hand shower, which I can appreciate that due to its lightness and maneuverability. Also, when the hand shower is placed in its holder, it 'clicks' in place, so you don't have to mess with the hose to get the shower head to stray straight ahead.
The hand shower has four modes, two that are pulsing, and two that are non-pulsing (massage).
This is a great showerhead that I would recommend to almost anyone.
WARNING: The three-way splitter does lower the showerhead's height by a few inches, so if you have a low shower arm you may want to take some measurements to make sure this setup will work for you.

I switch between the two during my showers. The water pressure on the outer head could be a little stronger but thats the only negative thing I can find. I have been using this shower head for couple of weeks now. The first one I ordered it had a scratched dual adapter. so I talked to Amazon.com's CS they sent me a new one within 3 days!!
